Weekly Walk/ Catchup

Starting this Tuesday 19 October 2021 several of us are starting a weekly walk/ catch up for the LGBT+ community and friends in Newry and surrounds. If you would like to join us just come along.

It’s a long long time since anything was put up on the Gay Newry website so it’s sure overdue an update.

We hope to get a regular walk going for a bit of exercise and craic and to catch up once again with friends old and new. We will go out for an hours walk around Newry and anyone that wants to go for a coffee etc afterwards is welcome to do that.

If you would like to come along just meet us at Newry Town Hall at 8pm on Tuesday 19 October and then every Tuesday.

Happy Christmas

All of us in the Newry Rainbow Community wish you a very Happy Christmas and a Happy and Healthy and Fun 2016.

Remember the NRC and the NRC Centre wouldn’t be there without the amazing team of volunteers who keep things happening, sometimes to the detriment of their own lives and relationships so we really need to thank each and every one of them as well as our new friends who have joined us from SAIL and have brought another extension of services to the Rainbow Centre.

We should also thank the partners and families of our volunteers for your endless patience as well.

Lastly thanks to you all who have made use of our facilities and services throughout the year and hopefully even more of you will come along in 2016.

Happy Christmas,

The NRC Team

Note: DJ Rory is organising a Passion Disco on St Stephen’s Night in the Bellagio Suite, Bellinis from 9.30pm.
