“Wretched Little Brat”, a new play about the lovers of Oscar Wilde stars Sean Doyle (Callum, Fair City) as Lord Alfred “Bosie” Douglas and David Flynn as Robbie Ross, the play charts the lives of Wilde’s closest associates up to 1945, in a frank telling of the aftermath of one of Victorian England’s most scandalous courtroom downfalls. A book release to inspire the world, one reader at a time!

In June 2014 Alicia Perry released the first book in her biography series entitled Confessions Of A Nobody ‘Mistreated’ on amazon sites across the globe. The book unveils important issues such as gender identity, child abuse, corporal punishment and bullying; while also giving a very personal insight into living through these controversial experiences. However, the focus remains on positivity and what can be achieved when you turn your life around.

Born in a male body that lacked an Adam’s-apple Alicia V. Perry was christened with a boys’ name.

From birth she always identified herself as a girl and at the early age of five she was confused by the boundaries of what was allowed by her parents. She jested with me “when my mother made me play with an action man, I knitted him a cardigan.”

The motivation to write these books came from a song by singer/songwriter Tracy Chapman called Tell it like it is. The books names were inspired by a song from the artist P!nk entitled Perfect; Mistreated, Misplaced and Misunderstood in the quest to be Ms Perry.
In February this year she finished 6th place at the Annual Shorty Awards, in the author category, in New York, USA. The awards are by international public vote and it is worth noting that there were hundreds in her category. (more…)
