Volunteer with the NRC

Have you ever wondered what it means to be a volunteer with the Newry Rainbow Community?

Volunteering can make a real difference to your own life and the lives of those around you. People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge.

Your time is valuable and those who volunteer need to be supported and encouraged.

As part of our Training Support Programme the NRC are hosting two workshops to give existing and potential volunteers an insight in to what it means to be a volunteer.

The workshops will cover “Volunteer roles” and “The Law and Volunteers”.

They will run over two consecutive weeks the first this Thursday 11th April and the second on the following Thursday 18th April; both running from 7:00pm to 10:00pm in the NRC Centre Hill Street Newry.

If you would like to avail of the opportunity to attend these workshops please contact the NRC at nrc@gaynewry.com

You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.
