NRC Open Night

The NRC has operated an information, resource and drop-in Centre in Newry City since September 2010 to provide information, advice and support services to lgb&t people, their families and friends. It is operated entirely by Volunteers. Services and support provided through the Centre include; personal development courses; advocacy and referrals; signposting; befriending service; professional counselling; rapid HIV testing; sexual health advice; training courses and opportunities for social engagement.
The NRC has now re-located to new premises in Newry City Centre. This modern accommodation in a new location will allow us to consolidate our existing services and supports to the lgb&t community and to also expand those services in terms of impact and quality of service and the development of a range of new services and programmes aimed at addressing the health, wellbeing and equality of lgb&t people across Newry, Mourne and Down District.
You are cordially invited to come along to an “Open Night” in the NRC Centre to engage with and meet the members of the NRC and hear about our plans for the future
