POLE PASSION
Well despite the typhoon like weather conditions and flooding on nearly all roads leading to Newry last night. We had another good turn out at passion which wasn’t completely without event. Our thanks to Cara and and the girls from pole fitness who put on a fantastic show!! Also a big thanks to the Brass Monkey for letting us operate later than usual.
The next passion is on Sat 27th Sept 2008, Our Mr And Ms Gay Newry event. Presented by our very own Singing Drag Sensation Trisha and judged by non other than Mr Gay Ireland and Mr Gay Northern Ireland 07/08. Countdown to a steamy night of PASSION!
Well the countdown is on and the excitement about our Post Pride Party/Passion Relaunch is killing us here at PASSION HQ! Its all those little extras that are getting our juices going like the Drinks Promo’s, Pole Dancers, Burlesque Performers, Brand New Sound System, New Layout, New Staff, Freebies and all those little things we need to keep secret until Saturday for security reasons. (If we tell ya the place will be TOO full to house our regulars!!)

Loud and Proud we certainly were with a small bit of campness thrown in there as well for good measure. For a first attempt at Gay Pride in Belfast everything went really well with everyone on the float contributing to the success of the day, thanks to all. If there is anyone in Newry that hadn’t heard of the group there is no excuse now.
Sincere thanks to Jackie and all at the Democrat for making such a big move and embracing the local gay community.
Looking forward to seeing you all again at Passion this Saturday night for a Post Pride Party.
A site to behold
Typical you wait all your life for a spin on the gay website bus and then three come along at once. The NRC’s esteemed Chairman Rory has completed a revamp of the Passion of Newry Website and just for good measure thrown a Newry Rainbow Community Bebo one in to the mix as well.
If you are a child of the Bebo age it will be like all your Christmas’s rolled into one so make sure you join up with either or both of them and get that warm glow of community spirit, just come back here the odd time as well!

Post Pride Passion Pulsating Pleasure Permanently
Hi all well Saturdays Passion is just around the corner and Passion has a new logo and look so come along on Saturday and check it out. There will be plenty of talent, hopping music and photos of last weeks Belfast Pride to check out and even some food on offer, so honestly are you going to get a better offer?
It all kicks off at 9.30pm Saturday the 16th (Yes a week earlier than normal!) and as usual it’s £2 or €3 Admission. Look forward to seeing you all there and if it’s half as good a night as the June one it will be a cracker. xx
