The homosexual question is never far away from the thinking of our church personal by the look of it and it seems it is always able to stir up extremely strong emotions from all sides.

The latest statement by Ballycastle Born Cardinal Keith O’Brien, Archbishop of St Andrews and Edinburgh and one of the UK’s most senior Clerics certainly doesn’t mince his words in a statement he made this week referring to a government consultation on same sex marriage. (more…)

A young person recently asked our group “What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of “Coming out” to their family or friends” All of us having made that step a few years ago, I suppose puts us in a position to pass on our thoughts even though it will be a different experience for everyone. A lot of people ask us what happens in the NRC Centre at 82a Hill Street so it’s probably a good idea to give a brief outline of the facilities and services available.

The Centre is on the floor above Shooter Property Services and opposite Murphy Jewellers on Hill Street. It has a large meeting room where visitors can watch Television or films on a Pull Down Screen. The room also has a computer area with large screen Apple iMac Computers where people can surf the net/ Facebook/ Skype/ email etc. The computers contain advanced software including Photoshop/ Dreamweaver/ Fireworks/ Final Cut Pro so any creative types can easily work on any project of their choosing from graphics to film making.
